According to Главком: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, listened to the report of the Ukrainian negotiating group regarding communication with the American side. During the meeting, the schedule of meetings for the next two weeks was discussed, as well as the preparation of documents, including those related to security guarantees for Ukraine from the USA. Zelensky instructed to finalize this document, noting that it must be of historical significance.
Economic aspects of agreements
Zelensky also addressed Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka, and Minister of Economics Oleksiy Sobolev, instructing them to ensure the expertise of the economic aspects of the agreements between Ukraine and the USA. The discussion also included documents regarding the reconstruction and economic development of Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that the document on security guarantees is essentially ready for agreement with the President of the USA, Donald Trump.
“This must be a document of historical significance, and this is the level of the text that is being achieved now,” Zelensky noted.
He also expressed understanding that the American side is in communication with Russia regarding the basic political framework for ending the war.
“Thank you to everyone in the world who helps us protect lives in Ukraine and remains on a diplomatic track despite everything,” he added.
