-
assistance after the birth of a child
-
the procedure for processing payments.

Social insurance Poland new initiatives for future mothers
The initiative is being implemented together with the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy of Poland. Its goal is to make the social insurance system more understandable for women.
ZUS also plans to have checks in cases related to pregnant women and young mothers. Institution employees have already been advised to pay more attention to such applicants and show empathy when considering their requests.
It is expected that the new approach will reduce stress for women and simplify the process of receiving the necessary benefits.
Overall, the changes are aimed at improving communication between the state and future mothers, as well as increasing the availability of information about social support.
Let us remind you that the Polish authorities plan to strengthen control over assistance '800+' received by foreign citizens, including Ukrainians. The Social Insurance Fund (ZUS) will conduct monthly checks to ensure that people receiving benefits are indeed working.
