Blogger Mrwhosetheboss tested originals and fakes: result 5:5

Fake gadgets vs originals
Блогер Mrwhosetheboss провів експеримент, порівнюючи оригінали та підробки: результати вражають!

Famous million-subscriber blogger Mrwhosetheboss conducted an interesting experiment REAL vs FAKE Tech. The author decided to compare 10 recognizable tech products with their best counterfeit counterparts to determine whether copies offer a better price-to-quality ratio. The results were unexpected:

Acoustics: The counterfeit speaker outperformed the original
  • Original: Harman Kardon Aura Studio 4 ($300).

  • Fake: 2025 LP90 Crystal Pro ($80).

  • Conclusion: Victory for the counterfeit.

    • Counterfeit sounded just as clear and bassy, but was louder, with brighter lighting and, importantly, had a built-in battery, while the original requires constant connection to the network. The price of the counterfeit is only a quarter of the original.

Smartphone: External deception and internal failure

  • Original: Samsung S25 Ultra ($1300).

  • Fake: Unknown model ($300).

  • Conclusion: Victory for the original.

    • Externally the counterfeit was almost indistinguishable, with convincing packaging and interface. Even the functions S Pen and Smart Select were imitated.

    • Failure: During an attempt to launch a game (Angry Birds) the loading speed was 'terribly slow'. The most shocking result came from the battery test: after an hour of play, the original (5000 mAh) had 86% charge remaining, while the counterfeit (claimed 6800 mAh) had only 32%.

    • Drop test: The counterfeit held up well, the screen remained intact (only the corner of the case was damaged), but the original sustained significantly less damage.

    • Conclusion: External efforts to copy are not accompanied by internal performance. Do not purchase counterfeit tablets and smartphones.

During the experiment, the million-subscriber blogger Mrwhosetheboss compared 10 tech products with their counterfeit versions. Interestingly, in some cases, the counterfeits even turned out to be better than the originals, but overall the experiment confirmed that original devices are more reliable and productive than their fakes.
