The Ministry of Economy approved a new distribution of funds: farmers received 136 million in compensation
The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture has approved a new distribution of funds under the program for compensating 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment. According to the agency, the program is being implemented as part of the development policy for producers 'Made in Ukraine'.
In July, farmers submitted applications for partial compensation of the cost of nearly a thousand units of agricultural machinery and equipment. The list of purchases includes products from all 160 participating manufacturers in the program. The program stimulates additional demand for all enterprises: from large factories to private entrepreneurs who operate legally and have at least 60% of Ukrainian components in their products. This means new jobs, timely tax payments, and support for related industries.
Among the equipment: harrows of various types, farming equipment, drip irrigation kits for field crops, conveyors, seeders, grain dryers, machines for spreading grain, vacuum semi-trailers-tankers, and much more. During the current stage of the program (December 2024 – July 2025), farmers purchased 5,256 units of agricultural machinery and equipment for a total of 3.7 billion UAH (including VAT), while the compensation from the state amounted to 777.9 million UAH. The Ministry reminded that a 25% compensation of the cost (excluding VAT) is provided for agricultural machinery and equipment that has at least 60% of Ukrainian components. Special conditions apply for certain categories - combines, tractors, self-propelled sprayers, and grain carriers. In 2024, under the compensation program, 5,311 units of equipment were purchased for over 4.2 billion UAH, while the state compensated nearly 877 million UAH. The news article announces a new compensation program for Ukrainian manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment, aimed at stimulating the development of the production 'Made in Ukraine'. During the current stage of the program, farmers have already purchased a significant amount of equipment, receiving compensation from the state.
