Automatic Deferral Renewal in Reserve+: 22 Categories of Ukrainians Eligible
When Does the Reserve+ System Automatically Extend a Deferral?
According to Мін. Оборони: In the Reserve+ platform, automatic deferral renewal is available for 22 distinct groups of citizens. The key conditions for auto-renewal are that the reasons for the deferral remain valid and that the system can verify these reasons through official government databases. Users can check their deferral status via in-app notifications in Reserve+ or by reviewing the extended data section of their military registration document.

Users can learn about the renewal of their deferral through notifications in Reserve+ or, after updating their military registration document, by opening the extended registry data in the 'Services' section, where a new deferral expiration date will appear.
This information is crucial for citizens who need to confirm their deferral rights, as well as for those planning to visit Administrative Service Centers (ASCs) to resubmit documents. The Reserve+ system is designed to streamline the process and reduce the need for in-person visits.
The automatic renewal of deferrals in the Reserve+ system represents a significant step in supporting vulnerable groups of citizens. It helps cut through bureaucratic red tape and simplifies access to state-granted entitlements. Checking deferral status through the Reserve+ app makes the procedure more straightforward and ensures users receive timely updates, which in turn can ease the workload on administrative offices.
While the automatic deferral renewal feature in the Reserve+ system offers essential support to various citizen groups, recent reports indicate that the app has faced significant outages and update issues. These technical challenges can impact users' ability to access their deferral information effectively.
