State Educational Institutions Will Be Able to Provide More Paid Services: Updated List
The government of Ukraine has decided to expand the list of paid services for educational institutions to promote the actualization and expansion of opportunities in the fields of education, science, rehabilitation, and adaptation. In particular, educational institutions are allowed to provide new paid services that are not included in the mandatory curriculum, such as teaching specific subjects. This will give students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge for a corresponding fee. It has also become possible to recognize the learning outcomes obtained outside the official educational system.
Updating the list of paid services will also allow for qualification exams for foreign graduates who have received education in medicine, pharmacy, or rehabilitation. Preschool institutions can now also provide additional paid services related to children's stay beyond the guaranteed volume of free time. These changes are aimed at modernizing the educational system and enhancing flexibility in service provision to meet the needs of learners and their parents while maintaining the volume of free educational services.
