Dollar Loses Safe Haven Status
Доларові коливання викликають занепокоєння: аналітики Goldman Sachs представляють стривожені прогнози.

The American network Goldman Sachs Group predicts that the dollar may become a risky currency, report analysts Vadim Bashta and Sergey Sledz from ZN.UA.

The company's employees believe that moderate dedollarization of the world is possible, along with a reassessment of hedging and a reduction in global trade. Despite this, the dollar remains the dominant reserve currency, but its status is no longer absolute.

Euro Rapidly Rises Against the Dollar

The euro/dollar pair shows impressive growth - from 1.03 in January 2025 to 1.18 at the beginning of July. According to specialists, the dollar has lost about 14% of its value in a short period.

In 2025, a historic event occurred - market players began to avoid the dollar even during periods of global instability, preferring the euro, even during heightened conflicts around the EU.

According to global statistical data, about 80% of all currency transactions are conducted in the euro/dollar pair.

Wells Fargo Bank's Opinion on the Dollar

Wells Fargo Bank remains optimistic about the dollar. Specialists believe that pessimism regarding the American currency may be exaggerated.

There is an opinion that the dollar may not only continue its decline but also temporarily change the trend. Influencing factors include President Trump's decisions, differences in interest rates between the US and the Eurozone, as well as geopolitical risks in Europe.

Significant changes in the currency market occur after the first half of 2025. The dollar may gradually lose its positions in the world, while the euro demonstrates stable growth. Experts disagree on the future of the dollar, but they unanimously point out that the geopolitical situation and decisions made by world leaders can indicate the future dynamics of currency exchange rates.
