BRIDGE 2025: The new state system will streamline evacuation from frontline communities
Participants of the BRIDGE 2025 forum came together to discuss the challenges of humanitarian response and enhance joint actions. Over 300 participants from all over Ukraine took part in the event, including representatives from 200 charitable organizations and 50 communities.
During his speech at the forum, CDTO of the Ministry of Social Policy Anatoliy Komirny emphasized the importance of involving the public sector in the processes of change. He shared the concept of the State Information System for Evacuation Coordination, which will organize the evacuation process from frontline communities.
“The first stage of work was about gathering information: we traveled on missions to frontline regions to assess the processes on the ground, and the public sector actively participated in this. Their experience helped us understand what the system really needs to do, which questions and challenges it should address, and where processes are already effective and can only be improved.”
Additionally, within the framework of the forum, the BRIDGE 2.0 app was presented – a digital platform developed by the Humanitarian Coordination Center. This app provides access to analytics for coordination of resources and planning of assistance to communities and organizations.
Participants of the BRIDGE 2025 forum discussed important aspects of humanitarian response and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the charitable sector and non-governmental organizations. The digital platform BRIDGE 2.0 was presented, which simplified the process of coordinating humanitarian aid and planning actions in case of emergencies.
