North Korea already fears sending soldiers to Russia: Umirov called the reason
North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un decided not to risk his strategic reserve and refused to send additional troops to Russia. According to Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umirov, North Korea has already sent about 11,000 troops from Kim Jong Un's personal reserve to the front.
“North Korea considered the possibility of sending additional troops to Ukraine, but this could deplete the strategic reserve and create a security threat for the country,”
- emphasized the minister.
This decision indicates problems with mobilization reserves in North Korea. The Ukrainian government and its partners are closely monitoring this situation and are ready to respond to threats if necessary.
Currently, there is also consideration for sending workers to a drone manufacturing plant in Russia. Approximately 25,000 workers are planned to be sent to the special economic zone “Alabuga” in Tatarstan, where drones are produced.
According to reports, Kim Jong Un rejected military assistance from Russia due to potential consequences for his country. The sending of workers to the Russian drone manufacturing plant is also being considered, which indicates some changes in North Korea's action strategy and its relations with Russia.
