Information about the searches was confirmed by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak and sources in law enforcement agencies of 'Ukrainska Pravda'.
Searches at Halushchenko

As Zheleznyak reported, the searches are being conducted due to corruption schemes in the energy sector: NABU officers appeared at the house of the former Minister of Energy and at 'Energoatom'.
'There is a NABU search at Herman Halushchenko. And at 'Energoatom', they say, as well', - he wrote.
This information was confirmed by two independent sources.
Searches at Mindych
The NABU office also visited businessman Timur Mindych early in the morning on November 10. According to sources from the records, the searches are taking place in Kyiv.
According to interlocutors, Mindych left the country that same night, a few hours before the arrival of the detectives.

'Mindych fled the country at night, a few hours before the searches', - the sources reported.
As a result of the searches conducted at Justice Minister Halushchenko and businessman Timur Mindych, NABU agents are paying attention to possible corruption manifestations in the energy sector. The investigation is also focused on the joint activities of these individuals, which may be related to violations of anti-corruption laws.
