New EU Sanctions Package Against Russia: What Will Be Included in the 20th List of Restrictions

According to hvylya.net: Ukraine is actively discussing the possibility of introducing new sanctions against Russia together with the European Union. In particular, the measures concern the shadow fleet, Russian oligarchs, and individuals involved in child abduction.

'Last week we had consultations and provided many of our proposals that should be included in the 20th sanctions package. There are ideas related to various aspects, including the shadow infrastructure and individuals involved in child abduction,' said Vlasuk.

The President's Representative also noted that the possibility of combining traditional sanctions with special measures is being considered, which will further complicate the situation for Russia. For example, a strike on a terminal in Russia may have serious consequences for the country.

'We plan to significantly expand the list of targets to intimidate Russia and increase the duration and scale of the consequences of kinetic sanctions.'
