The Migration Service Bought Paintings from Warriors: How Creativity Helps in Rehabilitation
Employees of the migration service participated in the charity initiative "Living - Unbroken. Therapy for the Soul," joining in support of Ukrainian warriors. Participants visited an exhibition-sale of paintings created by military personnel as part of an art therapy project organized by the Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital in collaboration with artist Natalia Bilyavska. Art has become not only a creative process for the warriors but also a means of recovery and finding inner harmony.
At the exhibition, over 30 artworks could be seen, along with poetic quotes from the military, including works by Pavel Vishababa, Oleksandr Tereshchenko, and Maksym Kryvtsov, who died in Eastern Ukraine ("Further").
Employees of the migration service not only attended the event but also purchased two paintings from Pavel Vishababa, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation. His works impress with their strength and dedication to the idea of struggle and hope.
The charity exhibition raised 47,740 hryvnias, which will be used to prepare aid packages for warriors and defenders undergoing treatment. Employees of the migration service promise to continue supporting similar initiatives and to assist Ukrainian heroes.
