A young man who set fire to the "Ukrposhta" post terminal will be tried in Kyiv
According to Прокуратура Київ: The prosecutors of the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv have sent an indictment against a 21-year-old Kyiv resident who set fire to the "Ukrposhta" post terminal in Kyiv to the court.
It has been established that the suspect met a girl online, arranged a meeting, but then received a call from a person who introduced themselves as an SBU employee and offered assistance.
The task of the young man was to observe one of the "Ukrposhta" branches and then set fire to the post terminal nearby.
The accused believed he was helping to identify a traitor working at "Ukrposhta," and therefore set fire to the post terminal at night. His actions were classified under an article that provides for imprisonment for a term of three to ten years.
The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Shevchenkivskyi Police Department of the National Police in Kyiv.

The young man faces a serious prison term for setting fire to the post terminal as a result of an informational provocation. It is known that he acted in good faith, but his act has been recognized as a criminal offense under the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Now the young man will have to answer for his actions before the law.
