The Head of the Palace 'Ukraine' defends 'Kvartal'
Керівник Українського палацу відреагував на сплеск критики щодо Кварталу 95.

According to glavcom.ua: Serhiy Perman, the head of the National Palace of Arts 'Ukraine', responded to the criticism directed at the 'Kvartal 95' studio ahead of their concerts in December. In his address, he supported the artists and noted their charitable activities, especially during the war.

'My friends, wonderful artists and good people! Some of them are even not acquainted with the owners. They have faced so much since 2019... how are they worse than you... who are making accusations? And I know they are better!'

Mr. Perman also noted that the number of free concerts by 'Kvartal 95' in hot spots is unprecedented. He emphasized: 'No one has done as many free performances in hot spots as Kvartal has!'.

'Kvartal 95' studio denied the accusations

Representatives of the 'Kvartal 95' studio stated that the case of one of their co-owners has nothing to do with the studio's activities. They confirmed this in their official statement.

'Currently, there is a lot of information in the media about one of our owners, but this is not related to the work of the 'Kvartal 95' studio, its content or team', the statement notes.

Furthermore, the studio emphasized that the co-owner has only a legal connection with them and does not influence their creativity or the team's decisions.

During the criticism towards the 'Kvartal 95' studio, the head of the National Palace of Arts 'Ukraine' came to the defense of the artists, reminding them of their volunteer and charitable activities. He highlighted the uniqueness of the free concerts of 'Kvartal 95' in hot spots, noting that such a scale of charity and support has no analogs.
