According to Кабмін: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has published estimated figures for total enemy combat losses from February 24, 2022, to April 5, 2026. These figures provide a stark illustration of the scale of the military attrition sustained by Russian forces over this period. The ongoing conflict, which began with Russia's full-scale invasion, has resulted in one of the largest conventional wars in Europe since World War II.
