The salary of the mayor of Kremenchuk amounted to 7 salaries of Zelensky
In October, the mayor of Kremenchuk, Vitaliy Maleckyi, received over a quarter of a million hryvnias in accrued salary. This is the highest figure among the city's leadership, according to the response of the city hall to journalists' inquiries. Writes 'Kremenchutska Gazeta'.
The salary of the mayor of Kremenchuk in October
According to the documents, the mayor received several types of payments at once. The largest portion is material assistance and funds for business trips. After taxes, 190,062 UAH was paid to Maleckyi.

To understand the scale: 190 thousand UAH equal 24 minimum salaries or 80 minimum pensions. This means that the mayor earned a two-year income of an employee working for a minimum salary in just one month.
How the mayor's salary compares to the incomes of other officials
The salary of the President of Ukraine is about 28 thousand UAH per month. Thus, Maleckyi earned seven times more than the Head of State in October. Against this backdrop, local residents continue to complain about the slow construction of shelters, problems with roads, the purchase of vehicles for the city hall, and chronic failures in communal and social spheres.
