Andrii revealed that his initial goal was 35-36 thrusts, but he ultimately surpassed his own expectations. He explained that he did not use any special technique, but applied the standard, rule-compliant method, focusing on back development which proved crucial for the exercise. Coach Anton Bilodid added that the preparation was comprehensive and included various aspects of physical training, such as:

  • Weightlifting
  • Thrust exercises
  • Work on the pull-up bar and parallel bars

Iryna, Andrii's mother, expressed her full support for her son's ambition to set the record. She noted that she and the coach had discussed the timeframe needed to achieve this goal, and Andrii successfully realized his plans. This record marks a significant milestone for the young athlete, who continues to work on his physical skills.
