The official channel of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine published a refutation of this information on October 13, 2025, clarifying the real meaning of the mentioned date.

Government resolution regarding gas prices

The government resolution on establishing special obligations in the gas market, which mentions November 1, 2025, is intended solely for technical purposes in fixing prices for natural gas for the population. The order provides for extending regulated tariffs after October 31, 2025, until March 31, 2026.

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to extend the mechanism of PSO to protect consumers and ensure stability. This means maintaining fixed prices for gas for the population and electricity producers.
