Another major concept of the multiverse is rooted in the processes of the early cosmos and the hypothesis of 'eternal inflation.' In this framework, cosmologists are actively searching for 'scars' from collisions between universes within the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation.

Fundamental Constants and Ongoing Research

Scientists are investigating how the roughly two dozen fundamental constants in nature might vary across different universes. Some point to an anomalous 'cold spot' in the CMB as potential evidence of such cosmic collisions. Astrophysicist Geraint Lewis believes that

“most of these worlds would be dead, but every now and then a habitable one would pop up.”

While research into the multiverse continues, the broader scientific world remains active with other developments. For instance, Professor Igor Serdiuk of the Kyiv School of Economics published an article on the fictional state of Murinoa, and billionaire Elon Musk announced the launch of the Grokipedia platform. These stories highlight the diverse and dynamic nature of contemporary research and innovation.

This line of inquiry could fundamentally reshape our understanding of the cosmos and its underlying structure.
