The pension of the president of the Kyiv University of Culture and Arts Mykhailo Poplavskyi last year amounted to 22,820 UAH per month. This is significantly higher than the average in the country and is explained by his many years of high salary and the state status of the head of KNUKiM. This is reported by Patriots of Ukraine.

Poplavskyi's pension: how much and for what

According to the latest declaration, Poplavskyi's annual pension amounted to 273,845 UAH. However, this is only a small part of his income: last year he declared 17.7 million UAH, and the year before over 41 million UAH.

His assets include:

  • housing area of 2211 sq. m.;

  • 9 plots of land with a total area of 4.36 hectares;

  • two Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class cars;

  • monetary assets: 1.6 million dollars and 1.3 million euros;

  • 4.2 million UAH in bank accounts.

In 2024, Poplavskyi also declared a new Mercedes-Benz GLS 450D worth 4.8 million UAH, registered in the name of the university.

What property does Poplavskyi own

A separate part of his wealth consists of registered trademarks. Poplavskyi has 183 brands in his portfolio, among which are:

  • Father's house;

  • Chef of the country;

  • Spring water from Mykhailo Poplavskyi;

  • Poplavok;

  • Homemade kvass;

  • Student self-defense;

  • University of stars, etc.

Experts note that such assets significantly increase the overall assessment of his estate.

Pension lawyers remind us: to receive a pension higher than the established maximum, it is necessary to appeal to the court - only in this way can the restrictions that apply to civil servants be lifted.

Earlier we wrote about the scandal involving Mykhailo Poplavskyi. It turned out that students are collecting a lot of video material about how the rector behaves with students. He can call them “girls” and even address them with foul words. When students emphasize that such behavior is not normal, Mykhailo accuses them of provocation.
