Restructuring Utility Debts: How to Conclude an Agreement and Preserve the Subsidy

Ukrainians have been informed about how to address the issue of utility debt. The municipal concern 'Center for Utility Services' urged consumers with debts to take advantage of the opportunity to restructure their debt. This process allows for gradual repayment of the debt while halting the accrual of penalties and other fines.

'For many consumers who already have debt, it is important not to lose their subsidy. At the same time, if the debt exceeds 680 UAH and is not paid for more than three months, its accrual is suspended. Concluding a restructuring agreement helps to preserve the subsidy,' emphasized the Deputy Director of the Commercial Municipal Concern 'Center for Utility Services', Yulia Petryk.

The conditions for restructuring are established individually, taking into account the financial situation of the consumer. Concluding such an agreement helps to avoid court claims and maintain the right to receive subsidies. The municipal concern 'Center for Utility Services' offers a convenient service for processing agreements for several types of services, which significantly simplifies the procedure for consumers.

To process the restructuring, one can apply in person at the district service centers, use the online cabinet of the CMS or Telegram, even from abroad using an electronic digital signature.

The municipal concern reminds that it is important to adhere to the terms of the agreement: in the case of a breach of the payment schedule, the agreement may be canceled, and the service provider retains the right to go to court. However, payment of current bills must always be made regularly, regardless of the debt restructuring.
