The State Employment Service found jobs for 136 thousand Ukrainians: where it is easiest to get employed
In the first seven months of 2025, the State Employment Service offered its clients more than 265 thousand job vacancies, managing to find almost 136 thousand workers for them.
According to the service's information, the Lviv Regional Employment Center offered the most job opportunities, and the highest number of employed individuals was recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
On average, the job search duration for vacancies during this period was 15 days. Employers were particularly seeking specialists in the trade sector, such as salespeople, consultants, and sales managers.
Among the most advantageous professions were positions in marketing and advertising, transport and logistics, as well as in industry and manufacturing.
Popular vacancies were for workers who build, restore, or produce various goods, as well as for salespeople of goods and services. The highest number of vacancies available during this period was in the Lviv Regional Employment Center - 13.4% of the total number, or almost 36 thousand.
Furthermore, among the regions with the highest number of job offers were Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv regions and the capital, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Khmelnytskyi.
'The average duration of filling vacancies during the reporting period was 15 days, however, the leaders in speed of employment were the Donetsk region with a figure of 7 days, Zaporizhzhia and Vinnytsia (10 days), as well as Kharkiv and Cherkasy with 11 days. The highest level of filling vacancies, that is, the ratio of the number of filled vacancies to the total number of available vacancies, was in the Donetsk region (83%), in Ivano-Frankivsk (75%) and Vinnytsia regions (69%)' - reported the State Employment Service.
The report showed that the labor market in Ukraine is active, with great opportunities for finding jobs in various fields, particularly in trade, marketing, industry, and construction. Some regions have proven to be particularly attractive for employment, which may indicate their economic development and demand for labor.
