According to hvylya.net: On the eve of the heating season, Ukrainians are once again concerned about Russian attacks on gas infrastructure. Although the authorities assure that there is enough gas, experts warn of possible temporary disruptions in heating supply. Meanwhile, repair teams are preparing for potential local outages due to active attacks on thermal power plants.
“There is gas - the question is about access and funding,” said the head of the Association of 'Oil and Gas of Ukraine' Andriy Zakrevsky.
“Heat may disappear locally: risk of strikes on CHPPs,” added expert Andrian Prokip.
“Will gas tariffs rise?” is a question that worries many, but the government currently does not plan to increase them for the population.
Despite the government's assurances about the sufficiency of gas, due to possible temporary obstacles and active attacks on energy facilities, Ukrainians should be prepared for potential disruptions in heat supply this winter. It is anticipated that repair teams will have a lot of work restoring damaged sections of gas and heat infrastructure.
