Slovakia: two trains collided in the evening, dozens injured

According to glavcom.ua: In the evening of November 9, an accident involving two trains occurred in Slovakia, resulting in dozens of passengers being injured. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to Reuters.

Interior Minister Matush Sutaj Eshtok reported that many people were affected, and 11 individuals were hospitalized. Fortunately, no one died as a result of the accident.

According to preliminary information, there was no head-on collision of trains, and there was also no derailment.

The accident took place in the corridor between the capital Bratislava and the town of Pezinok, which is 20 km northeast.

This is already the second accident in Slovakia in the last month. On October 13, two trains collided in the east of the country, injuring 91 people.

Several dozen people were injured in the train accident in Slovakia, which was not fatal but caused new outrage due to the second similar incident in the country within a short period of time.
