Ukrainian Biathletes Achieve Success

According to Главком: Ukrainian biathlete Khrystyna Dmytrenko has qualified for a World Cup mass start event for the first time this season. She earned her spot by finishing 21st in the short individual race, placing her among the top 30 athletes eligible for the mass start. During the competition, Dmytrenko recorded a single shooting error across the four firing ranges.

It is worth noting that eight biathletes ranked within the world's top 25 chose to skip the Czech stage, including notable names like Hanna Öberg, Elvira Öberg, and Maren Kirkeeide. This was Dmytrenko's first mass start of the season; her last participation was a year ago in Pokljuka, where she finished 20th. The mass start is a prestigious event featuring only the top performers from previous races.

Vitalii Mandzyn's Accomplishment

In a parallel success, Vitalii Mandzyn also secured Ukraine's first mass start of the season in the men's World Cup biathlon, finishing 15th in his short individual race. These results underscore the competitive level Ukrainian athletes are maintaining on the international circuit.
