The government approved the heating season dates for 2025-2026: when it will start and end

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has updated the timelines for the heating and inter-heating periods for the upcoming winter. The heating season for 2025-2026 will begin on November 1, 2025, and will end on March 31, 2026. It has also been established that the inter-heating period will last from May 1, 2025, to October 31, 2025.

In Lviv, a check is being conducted on the possibilities for alternative water supply and heating. Residents have been warned about potential inconveniences during the winter period. The city's mayor has also assured that a citywide testing of all resources and mechanisms will be carried out to ensure readiness for possible extreme situations.

It is noted that the update of the heating periods is aimed at ensuring the stability of the natural gas market for major consumers.
