President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has announced a possible gas deficit in the country this winter. According to him, in case of problems, Ukraine is ready to import gas. There are already plans to find 2 billion dollars for gas purchases if necessary.

“The agreements between Prime Minister Syvyridenko and energy companies in America are also positive. We understand where to get gas worth about 2 billion US dollars. If we need it,” Zelensky emphasized.

It was also noted that American energy companies are interested in entering the Ukrainian market. The president highlighted positive agreements with partners from Slovakia and other countries regarding gas supplies and financing projects in the energy and oil sectors.

Plans for the future

Zelensky also expressed plans for cooperation with American partners in the fields of nuclear energy and the oil industry. At the same time, he emphasized the possibility of constructing additional energy units and developing cooperation with the United States.

Despite the challenging gas supply situation, Ukraine is actively seeking new opportunities to ensure the country's energy security and develop cooperation with international partners in this direction.
