Her life has been marked by both profound loss and enduring strength. During World War II, she lost her parents, as well as two sisters and a brother. For much of her working life, Valentyna Mykhailivna labored on a collective farm and later worked as a medical orderly. In 1955, she moved to the village of Liubytiv, where she met and married her husband, Ivan. The couple had two sons.
Family and Legacy
Today, Valentyna lives alone, her husband having passed away. Her family remains her greatest joy, with four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Despite her advanced age, she retains a cheerful, sincere, and active spirit, along with a sharp memory. In her younger years, she had a passion for knitting and weaving, taking particular pleasure in creating runners and rugs for the floor.
