Ukraine's Construction Database to Introduce Paid Services Starting Next Year
Deputy Minister Natalia Kozlovska Attends Ukrainian Builders Confederation Board Meeting
According to Міністерство інфраструктури: Deputy Minister Natalia Kozlovska participated in an expanded meeting of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU), held as part of the CBU's Business Day. The meeting focused on key reforms in urban development, including the advancement of digital services, updated pricing approaches, and technical regulations.
Kozlovska emphasized the development of the Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Sector (USESCS). Discussions with the CBU and other industry associations centered on introducing paid services within this system. She stated that
"the system requires a stable financial resource for its development."
She highlighted the critical need for a fully functional digital infrastructure to implement necessary legislative and regulatory decisions. Following these discussions, a consolidated, joint decision was reached to introduce paid services. This move is expected to allow the USESCS to operate with greater autonomy and stability starting next year. This system is a central digital platform for managing construction permits and documentation in Ukraine.
Revised Classification for Urban Development Objects
Additionally, a new Classification of Urban Development Objects has been developed. This will update the requirements for the format of urban planning documentation at the local level, representing a significant step toward improving the management of urban development processes in Ukraine.
The CBU Board meeting underscored the importance of adapting the construction sector to new technological demands. The introduction of paid services in the USESCS and the updated object classification are seen as measures that could significantly enhance the efficiency of construction project management. These changes aim to foster development and ensure greater transparency within the industry.
These initiatives reflect the government's broader efforts to modernize national infrastructure and improve the business climate in Ukraine.
