Simplification of the documentation process for servicemen
Міністерство оборони спростило процес оформлення документів для родин загиблих та зниклих військовослужбовців: основні нововведення.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to improve the system for protecting the rights of servicemen and their families. The defense agency has simplified the work of military units in documenting cases of death (killing), capture, and disappearance of servicemen during combat operations.

New changes and additions in the Ministry of Defense system

According to information from the Ministry of Defense, the order regulating procedures in such situations was developed by the Main Department for the Protection of Servicemen's Rights. The document amends the Instruction on the organization of personnel accounting and regulates the list of information passed between military units and recruitment and social support centers.

'This decision is a response to the real challenges faced daily by both military units and the families of our defenders...'

Now, commanders of military units will have the right to issue orders independently in the absence of signs of an offense in such cases, without conducting a service investigation. This will simplify the accounting process and allow for quicker communication with the families of servicemen regarding the state of affairs.

Improving the system for protecting the rights of servicemen reflects the efforts of the Ukrainian government to create comfortable conditions for servicemen and their families, as well as supports the importance of upholding human rights in the country's defense sector.
