The restoration of electricity supply is critically important for nuclear safety. According to Grossi's report, both sides have cooperated constructively with the IAEA to ensure the implementation of a comprehensive plan for repairing power lines and restoring the safe operation of the ZNPP.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi reported that after a four-week break, the work on repairing damaged power lines supplying electricity to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has resumed. The repair was made possible thanks to the establishment of local ceasefire zones, allowing work to continue at the plant.

It should be noted that the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been in blackout mode for three weeks, posing a serious threat to nuclear safety. Russia has deliberately disconnected the plant from the Ukrainian grid while attempting to connect it to the Russian energy network - actions that have no precedent in the history of nuclear energy.

Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga stated that this is not only an attempt to appropriate a peaceful Ukrainian nuclear facility but also a violation of internationally recognized nuclear safety standards. Ukraine calls on the international community to recognize these actions by Russia as illegal and dangerous, and urges the IAEA to pressure Moscow to stop its experiments at the plant and return it under the control of its legitimate owner - Ukraine.

In addition to the important information about the restoration of power lines to the Zaporizhzhia NPP, the article also emphasizes the importance of continuous electricity supply to ensure nuclear safety. After a long hiatus, the repair work on the power lines has resumed due to the cooperation of the parties and the efforts of the IAEA. Ukraine calls for an international response to Russia's actions regarding the ZNPP, stressing the importance of adhering to international nuclear safety standards.
