According to hvylya.net: After July 17, 2025, territorial recruitment centers lost the ability to impose fines for the untimely updating of military registration data. This applies to violations that occurred a year ago - by July 16, 2024, Ukrainians were required to update their information through 'Reserv+' or in person at TCK.

Ukrainian law establishes a maximum period of one year for bringing to administrative responsibility during martial law. The fine for untimely updating military data previously amounted to 17 thousand hryvnias, but now it cannot be imposed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

However, lawyers warn against excessive optimism. 'TCK almost never imposed fines specifically for violating the 60-day updating deadline,' explains lawyer Roman Simutin. Instead, resolutions usually reference other wording: 'not registered for military service' or 'inaccurate information in the register.'

Major Roman Istomin from the Poltava TCK emphasizes that issuing fines is not the primary goal of the recruitment centers. The main focus is to update information in military registration documents. Fines for violations of military accounting can be significant, so experts advise conscripts to be careful and comply with legal requirements.

In light of changes in legislation, after July 17, 2025, territorial recruitment centers lost the right to impose fines for the untimely updating of military registration data. Currently, their main goal is to update information in military accounting documents, so conscripts are advised to be attentive and timely update their information.
