According to glavcom.ua: Artificial intelligence can be a great aid in the fight against cancer by accelerating the development of new treatment methods. Google DeepMind has introduced the C2S-Scale 27B model, which explores biological processes in cells and predicts tumor responses to various drugs. Scientists have identified a mechanism that makes tumors visible to the immune system, opening new possibilities for treatment.

The CK2 kinase inhibitor silmitasertib (CX-4945) enhanced immune system activity only in combination with interferon, increasing tumor visibility to the body’s protective cells.

Researchers also confirmed AI predictions in laboratory studies of human neuroendocrine cells, believing that large artificial intelligence models can significantly accelerate the discovery of new links between drugs, cells, and the immune system in cancer treatment.

“This discovery could pave a new way for developing cancer treatment methods,” noted Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
